Great "Feel Good" Movie
I can watch this movie over and over and over and, well, you get it. It's one of my favorite "feel good" movies, especially when it's been a rough week.

The Holiday DVD
Great Christmas Holiday DVD for the times we live in! Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black are outstand in the picture! Truly a classic romantic comedy that's worth watching throughout the year, not just a Christmas!

Feel Good Movie
I have watched this movie over and over and I never get tired of it. It's one of those "feel good" movies that you almost hate to see come to an end. The actors seem to fit their role to perfection. It isn't a movie that is going to make you roar with laughter but the light humor absolutely puts a smile on your face. Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Jack Black, and Eli Wallach all do a wonderful job of entertaining you.

One of my favorites!
This movie makes me wanna cry. I love the actors and Black Jack is totally different in this movie. Worth to watch with boyfriend or husband, haha.

Romantic Comedy Movie
Happy music and a happy, feel good movie (Director, Nancy Meyers) (Music by Hans Zimmer). When I need a romantic comedy pick-me-up, I also reach for Love Actually, Wedding Date, You've Got Mail, Walk in the Clouds, Must Love Dogs, Mamma Mia...

Fun holiday movie
I recommend this movie if you like romantic comedy movies. You'll be happy that you got it.

Twisted
I just watched Holiday in Handcuffs on TV tonight during ABC's 25 days of Christmas. I would have to say the dominating theme of this made for TV movie is twisted. I love Mario Lopez and so I thought I would give it a whirl. The premise of the show is quite preposterous, I realize it is just a movie, but the whole idea of a girl kidnapping a man is highly unlikely especially someone like Melissa Hart's character who is fragile and not very confident. It ends up being a "cute" movie overall, but honestly I think I would have turned it off early on if Mario Lopez wasn't the main character- he was the main reason I forced myself to watch the movie in its entirety. It ends up being a typical chick flick with a predictable sappy ending. I personally wouldn't pay a dime for this movie, especially since you can watch it on TV for free (I am sure they will play it again sometime between now and Christmas). Not only this but the movie overall isn't really that great and the retail price is outrageous especially since for that same price you could purchase a movie that was just released from the big screen.

Fantastic Christmas movie
My kids and I love this movie! We watch it everytime it comes on. It's so funny, and I love how it ends. And let's face it, Mario Lopez is gorgeous.

Love it!
I'm not generally into sugar-coated, family-fun, romantic comedy type movies, but I really love it! Even if the premise is a bit far-fetched, it's just so much fun to watch! And Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez make the cutest couple ever...

Romantic Christmas comedy fun for the whole family
I have liked Melissa Joan Hart since her days on Clarissa Explains It All so I was pleased to see she was back on TV again. This movie takes place at Christmas time and is basically a story about a woman who sees herself as a failure through her family's eyes and is hoping that bringing home her successful boyfriend for Christmas will prove she finally got something right, until he dumps her Christmas Eve and leaves her hanging.

She sees a very handsome man at the diner where she is working and tells her mom everything is hunky dory and kidnaps the handsome guy and takes him hostage (hence the handcuffs). From here the plot unravels in the typical romantic comedy faire where he is trying to convince everyone he's been kidnapped and she says it's a kind of joke he likes to play and we all get our happy ending. As I have said, it is the typically romantic comedy plot but there are some very funny moments and I can definitely see myself watching this movie again. If you like MJH, you will enjoy this movie.

Fun Movie
I'm a Patrick Dempsey fan and saw this movie when it was released in the theatre. After my recent trip to Scotland I was thrilled to find that some of the scenes were filmed in the beautiful historical places I visited. I just had to add "Made of Honor" to my DVD collection.

Not worth the time
I found this film trite and banal, the same thing hashed over and not done well. Unless you are a big McDreamy fan, and I am not, don't waste your time.

MOH-IMHO
I saw this movie when it came out and loved it. Even though the storyline itself is a little on the expected line, I loved the chemistry of the actors and cinematography. And yes, there wasn't a lack of man candy either; especially McDreamy and McArmy. I especially recommend this movie if you're into chick flicks and/or grey's anatomy (under the tuscan sun would be another must see grey's pairing of sandra oh and kate walsh, but I digress). It's very cute and sweet and sometimes you just need a sweet movie to pick you up! Two thumbs up!

PG-13? Safe for family viewing?
This movie is ok if you just want to relax and have a few laughs, but only with your spouse. Is this really a PG-13 rated movie? I take PG-13 to mean that some children around 13 years old may watch it, but may need some parental guidance as to what's going on in some scenes. So, tell me how I should guide my 13-year old daughter if she asks me:

(1)Dad, what does "bj" mean?
(2)Why was Hannah shaking her head gently in front of the genitals of the male figure in the painting? Is this scene meant to be funny?
(3)What is that "thunder beads" that woman was selling, and why did the old lady ask, "Where should I put it?"

I indeed watched this DVD with my 15-year old daughter and my wife. Thankfully, my daughter did not ask me those questions. I do not know whether she in fact knew the answers to those questions, because we just had "uncomfortable silences" when watching those scenes. Having endured some really gross and disgusting R-rated so-called comedies (e.g. Knocked Up, Clerks II), I now avoid them completely. I thought it should be safer to watch PG-13 comedies with my family. This movie got me to think twice. While it is not as bad as those R-rated trash, those crude sex jokes have no place in the romantic comedy genre. It's a sad reflection of the lack of ability of film writers these days to think of any jokes other than sex-related vulgarities. It would be an even sadder reflection of the society if there are many people who do find these so-called jokes funny.

Maid of Honor
I loved it Ive watched it several times and will some more im sure thanx again
